Mary, Mary quite contrary. How does your garden grow?

La Paloma Lakeside has started a garden! It is located outside the gym doors by the big playground. So far our class has planted zucchini. We will be adding a few more plants after the class decides what they want to grow. Our plot is #6. We are very excited to be gardening this quarter!

Talent Show!!

Our class is performing an ABC Rap on Monday, March 22 between 9-10 AM. We will have an evening performance on Wednesday, March 24th too. Students may wear Aloha clothes, sunglasses and a hat of any type for the performances. I hope everyone can come to the evening performance. If your child will not be able to make it, please send in a note so I can make the necessary changes. I appreciate your support so much! It is going to be a great show!!

Happy March!!

It is amazing that we are almost finished with our third quarter of school! Next week report cards will be coming home with your child on Thursday, March 11th. There will be no aftercare or lunch on that day. There will be no spelling test next week. We will have a class spelling bee reviewing the previous quarter's words. There will be no school on Friday, March 12th or Monday, March 15th. Enjoy the break! Thank you for your continued support of myself and your little geniuses!

We are off and running!! I have raised the expectations for the Aloha Room students. They must have their first and last name on all their work. No backward letters or numbers will be allowed. Each student made academic goals for this quarter. I am still trying to get my newsletter on here.
